Okay, I installed the drivers using the setup. I still have a problem with the screen resolution, but I'm guessing that an update of one or more drivers will fix it. I think you are saying you now have a dual boot system of Windows 7 and Mint 19? Does Mint 19 have internet? Download your drivers in Mint and copy them to a folder on your Windows directory. Broadcom bought out Atheros so I'm not sure which one to download. I believe that the adapter is Broadcom. I'll work on this in the next hour or two and let you know how it worked out.
